Situated just north of Mount Pleasant off of Highway 17, the waterfront community of Copahee View can be found on the Intracoastal Waterway. The long-established neighborhood was badly affected by Hurricane Hugo in 1989, but has successfully rebuilt itself while remaining true to its original roots. The community is only a short distance from Capers and Dewees Islands. Consisting of approximately 100 homes, the quaint community, is characterized by a mixture of newly built single-family homes and manufactured homes.
